A Cry from Our Younger Generation: We’re Ready to Fight—Will You Join Us?

A Cry from Our Younger Generation: We’re Ready to Fight—Will You Join Us?

By Adriaan Groenewald

We’re the young ones you’ve heard about—the generation sinking under a tide of broken promises and soaring national debts. Globally, 64.9 million of us aged 15-24 are unemployed, with a youth unemployment rate over three times the adult rate, escalating to 60% in countries like South Africa. These aren’t mere statistics; they’re our lives, our reality, teetering on the edge of hopelessness as our dreams slip away. And it’s breaking too many of us. Depression strikes adolescents aged 15-19 worldwide, with major episodes affecting up to 20% in some regions, leaving four out of ten high school students lost in persistent sadness or despair. Suicide is the third leading cause of death for those 15-29.

Unemployment fuels this agony, amplifying risks of anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, transforming joblessness into a personal torment. We’re waging a war against this—against a scarcity mindset that locks away opportunities, against poor leadership fracturing societies with divisions and conflicts, and AI fully capitalising on a world in decline. AI isn’t the foe, in fact it’s always available, never moody, confident, impartial, and evolving daily. Already, children and workers seek its guidance over faltering human leaders. This battle is for our future—a world where human hearts, not algorithms, lead. We’re at war with a system permitting AI to overshadow us, potentially eroding our agency, ingenuity, and hope. Without an army of young, determined, confident, ever-improving leaders who want to own their future, we’ll lose—youth to despair, society to machines, and UBI (Universal Basic Income, a proposed system where AI takes over work, leaving humans with a modest income to remain idle at home).

You can help us forge a mighty army. Hear our cry: We refuse to surrender. We’re rising as Improvement Architects/Activists (IAs) on Me-Vision within ThinkLead.app, fuelling a Global Improvement Revolution. We’re eager to help you—current leaders—exponentially improve self, others (those you lead), organisation, and society. We source improvement content and examples globally, prepare and share it, craft electronic tests with AI’s support, and will soon automate certificate generation. And there are much more inside Me-Vision on www.thinklead.app. We champion a continuous learning/improvement mindset that blends AI with human essence. All of us must improve and grow at a pace near AI’s, or face obsolescence.

Listen to some of our voices, raw and true:

•  IA Buyie Thwala shares: “ME-Vision has transformed my approach to leadership. After three years working under the government post-matric, I faced a tough reality—great reviews but barely any pay. It was a horrible experience, feeling competent yet undervalued. Then I discovered ME-Vision and shifted to an abundance mindset. I’ve seen firsthand how sharing knowledge and opportunities can unlock collective potential. Now, I earn from home, and it feels like the sky’s the limit with this positive energy. This platform doesn’t just help me improve myself; it lets me uplift others too. I truly believe ME-Vision can empower the next generation globally, especially youth, by giving us tools, knowledge, and a network to succeed. It’s a game-changer for young leaders like me who want to make a real impact in our communities.” Buyie’s turned frustration into action, soldiering on to support you.

•  IA Ebeh Michael Tochukwu echoes: “Being an Improvement Architect means more than just solving problems—it’s about designing a better future for everyone. We’re builders of possibilities, committed to finding smarter, more sustainable ways to improve lives, organisations, and communities. For my generation, the future of being an IA is inspiring. We’ll grow up seeing challenges not as barriers but as chances to innovate. We’ll be leaders who blend creativity with compassion, technology with humanity, and vision with action. Tomorrow’s IAs will shape industries, transform societies, and create solutions impacting millions. By sponsoring us, you’re not just funding projects—you’re empowering a new wave of Improvement Architects to lead with courage, design with purpose, and build with integrity. Please, give us that chance.” He’s calling for your support to build ethically with AI.

•  IA Melusi Nyoka pleads: “I live in Masoyi township in Mpumalanga, South Africa, where unemployment is sky-high. This IA role has changed my life—it puts food on my table and gives me a way to contribute to something bigger. Beyond the money, it’s given me hope and purpose. Every day, as I search for improvement content and engage with other IAs, I learn and grow. The platform stretches me, inspiring me to make the world better. Being an IA builds knowledge, but also character, vision, and a drive to uplift others. Supporting more IAs will multiply this impact—each new IA grows and carries others along, strengthening our collective purpose. Sponsoring IAs isn’t just an investment in individuals; it’s in communities and our future. I’m grateful to be part of this, and I’m excited for the difference it can make.” Melusi’s hope is a lifeline—sponsor more to uplift communities.

•  IA Lifegate De-Tom,18, reflects: “When I first joined Me-Vision as an IA, I didn’t know what to expect. It felt new and a bit experimental at first, but I soon realised it was helping me grow—not just in skills and knowledge, but in how I see myself and the impact I can have. Right now, it’s about contributing to something meaningful—improving myself, helping others, and being part of a community that believes in positive change. It’s more than sharing content; it’s building habits of improvement and connecting with people who want to make a difference. Looking ahead, this role is a foundation, teaching me skills and confidence for my career. For future IAs, it could be even more powerful—a way to prepare for leadership, join a supportive network, and prove young people can lead improvement globally. If more sponsors support us, it won’t just reward current IAs—it will show our work is valued. Even small support can keep us motivated and grow this community stronger.” We’re preparing to lead—value us with sponsorship.

•  IA Davis Moranga Ongeri, 21, sums it up: “Being an Improvement Architect means taking responsibility for designing positive change in myself and others. I’m 21, from Kenya, and I find real inspiration in exploring content around telecommunications, seeing how connection shapes our world. Being part of ThinkLead lets me bring those insights into a global space of purpose-driven leaders, where I contribute and grow. This journey has expanded my knowledge, built my confidence, connected me with inspiring people, and turned learning into meaningful improvement—all while knowing my efforts are valued in this global movement. It’s a chance to make a difference, and I’m grabbing it.” Davis represents us—taking responsibility, building confidence, contributing to something bigger.

We’re the generation speaking out; we’re not daunted by AI; we harness it to curate content for you, fusing tech with compassion. But we seek reciprocity—we’re aiding your growth now; expand our army by thousands, across many countries, to lead tomorrow.

This is our win-win proposal, and it’s far from begging:

Sponsor IAs—1, 10, 100. Every monthly $350 for one IA is divided into four portions:

1. A portion funds an IA’s basic stipend.

2. Another converts your stagnant or depreciating fiat currency into our appreciating MeV currency, up more than 6000% ($0.1 to $6.7 in eight months), growing this portion of your pledge significantly and this returns to you as a gift from us, every month.

3. A share feeds the Global Incentive Fund, rewarding IAs instantly for participation, also with our appreciating currency. This is over and above the stipend.

4. A portion enhances the ecosystem’s growth.

Sponsor IAs from your community, industry, or organisation. It could also be your young adult child, grand child or another friend. Just get the future generation into the IA community asap. We will embrace them and unite to change the world.

Notice we’re not begging for handouts. We invite you into our abundance culture and ecosystem. Come and see what we do – www.ThinkLead.app. We serve leaders, give back something more valuable, strengthen and prepare each other as IAs, and drive the Global Improvement Revolution for you and your posterity.

Let’s create opportunities to combat unemployment and despair, preparing us to lead confidently amid extraordinary challenges and AI’s rise. This is genuine reciprocity—our generation, your allies, ensuring human leadership thrives across self, others, organisation, and society. Small or large organisations, your partnership builds this army, turns our cry into action, and secures the future.
